My mantra for 2013 is going to be "stay positive". This past year has had many ups and downs and I frequently found myself dwelling on the negatives rather than reminding myself of all the ways God has blessed me and my family. I'm hoping if I make this a theme for the new year, I will more likely to focus on it rather than forgetting and slipping into a negative mindset.
My goals to help me remain positive:
*avoid people/bloggers that bring me down or make me feel bad about myself - whether directly or indirectly.
*have a mommy time-out once a week (bath or shower with no child interrupting, going to a yoga class, trying a new wine, etc.)
*plan a date night with A once a month
*letting go of the little things that seem to always create havoc for me
*A Random Act of Kindness a week. (more on this to come late this week, stay tuned)
