We've been putting W on his activity mat during his active time of day. He doesn't do much yet other than look at the flashing lights (or watch the TV like he's doing in the last picture), but he is getting used to it. The little pillow is perfect for tummy time which we have also been doing on the mat. He has been great at supporting his head, whether it's during tummy time or not - our pediatrician was super impressed with his head control at his one week appointment. I cannot believe our little guy is going to be one month old next week! He has his one month check up on Tuesday when he gets his second Hep B shot and then on Wednesday the Help Me Grow lady is coming. Help Me Grow is a free program in Ohio where a social worker comes to your house to assess your baby once a month. They look at fine motor skills, communication skills, and overall development . Our lady is so sweet and I'm really looking forward to meeting with her once a month! She also has a wealth of knowledge about breastfeeding, sleeping tips, and ways we can interact with W based on his age. I highly recommend looking into whether or not your state has a program like this...especially because it's free!

Ahh he's SO cute! He has the most adorable facial expressions :) I hope everything goes well this week for his 1 months (eek!) check up and you have a good visit with the Help Me Grow lady!
