movies

94. Watch 26 movies I've never seen that begin with a different letter of the alphabet (26/26)

I finally complete this one! I'd been trying to find an "O" movie for the longest time, but Open Season was on TV last night and so I watched it. I'm not going to talk about every movie I saw, rather I am going to rate them. Here is my rating scale:

A - A movie I would not only watch again, but I would love to own it (if I don't already). I plan to write only about the movie's I'm giving "A's" to
B - The movie was good, I would watch it again but I probably won't buy it
C - Average movie I don't need to see again
D - A movie that probably didn't keep my attention and I have no plans to watch it ever again!

A Movies

Eternal Sunshine of the Spotless Mind - I love movies like this. The stranger the movie, the better! I had to watch it a few times to figure out what was going on, but I loved it. I went out and bought this movie shortly after watching it.

Fireproof - We bought this movie to watch on our one year anniversary. If I was rating strictly on acting, this wouldn't be at the top. It has an amazing message though, and I recommend it to all married couples!

Leap Year - Such a cute movie! I adore that it is set in Ireland and it's such a romantic movie! Amy Adams is one of my favorite actresses :)

The Painted Veil - At first I didn't think I'd like this movie. It has a slow start and the ending isn't what I typically like for movies. It's set in such a beautiful location, though, and the story is beautiful. I ended up buying the book and the movie because I loved it that much! I hope to read the book now that I have some time off.

Up - This movie is just so adorable! My brother and I constantly quote it. It's a great movie for kids and adults and I really think it reminds us not to grow up too much!

What About Bob - Ok so I'm not sure if people outside of the psychology field appreciate this movie, but it's a hilarious movie about a client and his psychologist (maybe a psychiatrist, I don't remember?) and how he basically moves in with the guy's family. It's a bit older but really funny!

B Movies

Bedtime Stories
Cars
The Hangover
Julie & Julia
Seven Pounds
Twilight Saga: New Moon

C Movies

Adventureland
(500) Days of Summer
Rain Man
The Quick and the Dead
Valentine's Day
The X-Files: I Want to Believe
Zombieland

D Movies

Ghosts of Girlfriends Past
The Invention of Lying
King Kong
Miss Pettigrew Lives for a Day
Nick & Norah's Infinite Playlist
Open Season
Year One

What are your thoughts? Are there any you think I rated incorrectly? I had a lot of fun coming up with different movies and it definitely "forced" me to watch movies that were outside of what I would normally watch.

I started doing that too. I think I have 4 letters to complete. I have a bunch for the same letter though, mainly thanks to new Hallmark Channel movies.

Woah that's so cool, I never even would've thought of doing that! I hope all your plans for moving are going well!
